for my 20 long should i use the 10-20 gallon uth from zoomed that measures 6" x 9"
or the 30-40g one thats 8" x 12"??????

UTH's should cover 1/4-1/3 of the tank bottom. The 10-20g sized UTH is plenty for a 20L, and is what I use on my 10 and 20L tanks. Just don't use the adhesive on the pad itself...it's nearly impossible to get unstuck later. Better to use foil tape to tape the pad on, cover paper and all.

most UTH specify the best size tank they would go with on the packaging.
