White Plains expo cold temp questions
I will be attending the White Plains Expo next weekend. If the weather stays the same the weather should be in the 30's.....I plan on picking up a few animals. The walk from the expo to the parking lot is like a half mile. What should I bring to ensure the animals make it home safe ???? Heat packs ? cooler ? I have no idea.. Any info would be great.. I also have a 90 minute drive home.

Buy 2 heat packs and bring a styro lined box. Also if you go with someone, have them pick you up at the door and have the car all warmed up.....You should be fine...What kind of animals are you buying?

Depending on what kinds of animals you wind up with and how they're packed, you can simply tuck them inside your coat. It's a bit unwieldy, and can make you look pregnant, but the animals stay at a perfect temperature, and you'll be surrounded by people who understand perfectly!

ya i would find a good size but managle box and styro line it and add 2 heat packs into the box that will give you sufficent heat for the trip home .
might want to throw in some shredded newspaper as well ..

I keep a large styro and you can swing in a store and pick up the short hour handwarmers/heat packs. Works great! I also keep a towel in the bottom of the styro for packing around the snakes.

lol @ half a mile to the expo to parking lot !!! i have bought a couple ball before in the winter and if they are in a fabric bag, i wear a hoodie and a jacket and place them between my shirt and the hoodie for about 5 mintues before i walk out the door. when i get in the car i place them into a plastic container when i have the car warm from the heater then place the container on the passenger floor so they get good heat... as long ur vechile has heat they do fine for a long while...
ill be at whiteplains this sunday... no $ to buy anything.... :(
