how do i upload pics

Are you talking about uploading pictures into your gallery or like into a post? Because if it is into a post you need an image hosting site i believe like many other forums to post pictures in a post. For example photobucket.com is an image hosting site.

If your talking about the gallery in your control panel then it should be pretty straight forward no?

Well the first thing is to get them hosted somewhere online.

you can put them in your gallery here - this tutorial is a bit old but the basic procedure is the same I think.

And here is another one in video form that might also help.

You can also use a site like http://photobucket.com/

They should also have tutorials to help you.

That's an avatar, and you upload it from your computer, not your gallery.

Go to UserCP on the toolbar at the top, then on the left, you'll see Edit Avatar.

Go in there and you can choose one that we have loaded up, or you can upload your own.:)

so can you take a pic for your gallery and put it in a post?
i tried but it did not work. i thought maybe the pic was to big.

I sent these directions to another member today:

The attachment function is disabled. You'll need to host your pictures either here in our gallery, or on another photo server like Photobucket.

Once loaded in Photobucket, you'd simply copy the IMG code located under the photo. For example - this:

[IMG]http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e90/rabernet/DSCN00171.jpg[/IMG]

translates to this in your post:


http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e9.../DSCN00171.jpg


Conversely, you can copy the http address of your photo stored in your gallery here, and put [IMG] and [/IMG]in the front and back.
