    HELP! bp vomiting?
I have a 1 1/2 yr old female ball python. She hasnt eaten in about 2 months or so. Her weight seems to be fine and is still active. Last night we heard a noise from her cage that sounded like someone gagging or heeving. I looked in the cage and there was a little bit of brown substance in front of her almost like it was projectile. It didnt seem mucusy and she hasnt been weezing. We've been keeping the cage around 86-88 during the day and 78-80 at night so i dont think its respitory (or so we hope). The bedding is cypress, is it possible she could of gagged or gotten sick from it?

Any info would be great... Thanx!

First of all :welcome: to BP.net :D

I would take a moment to read over this care sheet if you haven't already

    Ball Python Care Sheet

Your temps need to be adjusted...which will help your BP digest when it does eat again. Seeing as it hasn't eaten in two months I doubt it was a regurge.

I'm sure more experienced members will be along to help shortly.

    Best of luck! :D

No one can diagnose a snake online, the best thing you can do if you are concern about your snake is to take him to an herp vet to get a diagnosis.

Like Lena said, it's not a regurg if the last meal was 2 months ago. Without pics or first hand experience it is going to be difficult to give you anything more to go on.
