    temp problem
Well on my ars 7030 rack my helix is at 104 but the temps on the container is only 95 but with the bedding its only 85. The snakes that stay on the heat get about 82-88 the bigger ones that dont stay right on are only about 75-80.They dont feel that cold and I'm thinking about getting a small heater in the room to rais the air temps a bit think that will help? The room thier in happens to be the entrance to my house, with the window and door letting the cold air in I think that is my problem but any advice is vauled.

i have often heard that you have to bump the helix up quite a bit to get the right temps, there was a vid on here where somebody had theirs well up over 100 but the temps in the tubs were right on.

In my rack system I have the stat probe a wee bit off of the tape. By so doing, I don't need to run the t'stat at full throttle to achieve optimum temps :gj:
