    can a blood be put in a rack? and if so what size tub should be used for a larger female.

    Animal Plastics makes the VE175 rack.

    If dealing with big big males or females id go with say a Freedom Breeder rack. Or the stylish ARS racks.

    But yeah they can be housed in racks.

    That sounds good but I made a rack with a cb110 style tubs. Check the vid out.
    I got rid of it because its hard to clean when the tubs are so deep.

    Best when used with lids imo. I meant the top surface of the rack/tub.

    i keep my baby blood in a shoebox-sized sterilite tub cause hes teeny still. once he gets big he will go in a display-type cage :D

    That's one of the nicer homemade racks I've seen, Krazy. Nice blacks too.

    I made racks out of shelving from an auto parts store. If you've ever gone to an Advance Auto or AutoZone, the shelves they use to put parts on behind the counter. Not quite as fancy as an AP job, but it works and they were free. Medium sized bloods go on it. I also have a seperate shoebox rack for babies. For the adults, they go in the AP T10s.
