Cute snake who looks like he's ready to have a bad shed.
Get the humidity up and read this: http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=43403.

Yep, you need to be misting that enclosure once or twice a day. and include a nice bowl of water that the snake can get in and out of easilly.

Definitely looks like a VERY dry snake!

Pistachio is an awesome name for him! He definitely needs a soak and assist to get all that stuck shed off him - he looks uncomfortable! :(

he wasnt too fond of the helping of the shedding, but he didin't hiss or bite or anything which i think is a good sign.

    Hi,

    Looking a lot better. :gj:

He still looks a little dehydrated though (the folds running along his body are often a sign of that) so make sure to keep his humidity up and if it doesn't go away I would probably give him another soak or two.

    Hi,

50%-60% is fine normally and most people bump it up to 60%-70% during the shed cycle.

Give him a day or so to see if the folds go away first though before doing anything as he was just soaked. :)
