    I know alot of people on here use equine fresh for their rodents.How long does it last for those of you that use the medium sized 6 tub concrete rack?I think the pellets come in bags of 40 pounds.:confused:

    How long do you think I could use it in a tub that size with a ratio of 1.3, could i use it for longer then a week, like a week and half with out cleaning it.

    Is it absolutely needed by then? Ive been using pine shavings but I am tired of have to rinse out the tubs every time I clean.When using these does pee get stuck on the bottom of the tubs?

    No, but I am a tireless advocate of humane treatment of feeders. I change them every week, you'll see why quickly. The pellets break down and there is a lot of poop and pee.

    While pellets is amazing stuff, you still need to change it out just as often.

    oh and does anyone remember where on the forum i can find that water mixture that cuts back on amonia smell i think it was vanilla and water mix???????

    just a drop in an 8 oz bottle is enough vanilla, or else it tastes nasty. Vanilla is really strong and alcoholic bitterish taste.

    Aspen is about 10 bucks a bale of 4 cubic feet. I dont remember how many tub changes that is. Sorry. :oops:

    so just a drop will work? and does it make a noticable difference?
