    Moving... Questions!!
    This weekend, I'm moving. (I'm scared...:weirdface)

I am praying to the snake gods I don't have any problems with my moving, but I ask those of you who moved 100+ snakes to a new house, what was your system??

Did you have snake friends help? Cause I know I'm going to have some issues if I ask some of my friends to help bag up snakes.

I didn't have to move a hundred plus snakes...but when I moved, I had some help from my snakey friends. Bags, and the bags into tubs, without being too heavy to handle with minimal effort. Didn't want to struggle going up and down stairs...it was better making a couple more trips than worrying about dropping my babies. :gj:

We had the luxury of having a rack ready at the new place. Didn't have a hundred, but we bagged them all, put them in a couple of big tubs, and when we got home just put them away.

    Easy peasy

I didn't move 100 either, but I did move almost 30. I didn't have the luxury of having the racks ready and waiting on the other end. I bagged each individually, and used larger fish boxes with a single 40 hour heat pack (temps here were 60-70F).

Bag em up heather and put them all in boxes, with some hot packs, Move the racks and enclosure stuff first. Set the tubs up with whatever substrate you have or use, and get them heated and ready to go.

Move the snakes after. Easier to set things up at the new place without all the snakes in the way. They will be fine for a few hours.

Then, when youre done, you can just bring all the snakes and organize them how you want in warm happy enclosures. :)

Kinda. I'll be in West Covina.. A tad bit closer, but not by much.

But I will have the house to myself. :) That, I can't be happier about.

I'm just concerned that I will loose track of an animal, It'll be interesting.

If you're worried about losing track give each bag a number and then have a checklist with the bag number and animal that was inside; then you can reconfirm everything when you get to you're new place.

Some extra work but with 100+ animals I'd want to make sure everything was accounted for.
