Which thermostats do you own and why are they good?

You should have made it a multiple choice poll, since many of us own multiple stats of different types.

Myself, I have 4 ZooMeds (they still work perfectly), 2 Johnsons, 1 Ranco and 1 Herpstat. They all work great, tho some are more accurate and require less tweaking than others.
I like my Johnson stats best, since they are relatively quiet, have the indicator light, and don't have to be set too far above the desired temp (tho that isn't about the stat as much as the enclosure setup). The Herpstat is really nice so far: quiet and small, even tho I've had to set it to 105 to get 92 in the rack tubs. :)

I use Helix and Herpstat.
I like the Herpstat better because of the safety features built into it :gj:

I use the Johnson Controls, and the Herpstat. I like the Herpstat pro better, because it is proportional.

I have two helix, they are a little pricey but worth it for piece of mind. I love proportional thermostats because of the precise control that you get. True others are proportional as well, but my helix has never failed me and i love the external module attachments. Also i like a reputable company that offers a life time warranty.

See I have a Helix and a Ranco I shoulda picked Ranco, so at least it had one vote.

I use all but the johnson! I like each one of them, for what i use them for! Helix is my tstat of choice though!:gj:

I use a Helix on my ball rack and I have 3 rancos (1 as a backup, 1 on my corn rack and another that I'm using for the qt tub right now :D). I like the Helix never had any problems with it but the controls are kind of a pain. The Rancos I actually really like because they are cheap(er) the controls are easy to use and they're pretty accurate.

I use the Helix and absolutely love it.
