Re: Testing some reflectors
WOW that 2nd pic is AMAZING!
Re: Testing some reflectors
Andrew, I'm so in awe of your photos, I wouldn't know how to begin to critique them! Seriously! All I see is goodness! Those are beautiful! And your niece is an absolute cutie-pie!!!
Re: Testing some reflectors
Re: Testing some reflectors
I think they look awesome! I wish I could take pictures like that!
Re: Testing some reflectors
The first pic is just a TAD too bright.
Great pics regardless though!!
Re: Testing some reflectors
Those are awesome!! I *love* the second picture. I think it is absolutely perfect!
Now that it's been said, I'll agree that the first one is a touch to bright, but they are both amazing shots! Nice work!
Re: Testing some reflectors
have to agree with Mooingtricycle , main light does look to be ''blowing'' out skin at leftside, overpowers the fill ( your reflector ), I have only just got back into portraiture mind you and I hate doing C & C , great subject , loving the coloured B& W , ( works very well ) ... try turning the output of main light down a bit .
an example of one of my recent portrait shoots

idea is you want the main light one stop more than fill , kinda gives it a balance
all that said , my macro is *rap in comparision to your own
Re: Testing some reflectors
Yeah ANDREW waaaaay to bright. Try turning main light down ;) ;) ;) ;) hahahahahahahahahaha
Re: Testing some reflectors
Thanks for the CC everyone. This is honestly my beginning rap into human photography, so these are probably the few and only shots you will see from me, of people lol.
