    this seems like a problem
my python keeps sleeping with his head like in the corner in his cage pointing up. I found him earlier clung to the screen at the very top. He hasnt been using his hides at all lately either..

What are the temps in the tank and how are you measuring them? What are you using to heat the tank and are you using a thermostat to control those temps? Sounds like it might be a heat issue...

You need to take some time to hang out around the enclosure to "listen" to your snake. Make sure there are no popping or wheezing noises. Laying with their heads proped up could be an early sign of an RI.

You say that he has not been using his hides lately? Well, when did you last observe normal behavior and what has changed since then? How long has he been living in this enclosure?

hes been in his enclosure for almost a month, and his behavior changed about a week ago maybe. his hotspot is about 92 and his cools are anywhere between 85-88, his humidity is actually kinda low at about 45 percent...

Well, that rules out the too much heat theory...
Perhaps he's feeling the breeding season ;)

I'm going to throw my newbie point into this one. I have only had my BP for two weeks but this is what I have learned so far from her. If she is out and about she's hunting.

    Feeding time perhaps?

If he's laying still with his head elevated in a corner, it's possible he has a respiratory infection, and the raised head makes it easier for him to breath.

I would definitely consider getting him seen by an exotics vet if this behavior continues so that you can get him started on medication.
