    Chondro update!
    Others have posted thier chondros, so i figured i should post some updated photos as well. Nothing fancy, just cleaning cages and figured i should snap some photos.

    Yes the first one pictured is a wamena type female, the next three are jaya type and the last is from an aru x unknown local pairing by Garrick de Meyer.

    Those are beautiful snakes. I have wanted to own one for many years. ANy advice, on a good place to get one and the additional needs they have?

    You want one from a reputable breeder, you dont want w/c or farmed stock. The money you save on a farmed animal you will pay for in vet bills, because they normally come loaded with parasites! So a us captive bred animal is where its at. As far as husbandry goes i suggest you start with "the more complete chondro" by greg maxwell! It has all the info you need and more. Actually read this book before deciding you want a chondro! Its a good read!:gj:
