New Baby

My friends got us a wedding gift on the 21st of October and it was a little baby opal corn snake. The little thing is too small to sex just yet (or so I think). Its near hatchling size. He/she is bright bubblegum pink and beautiful! I was wondering what kinds of morphs will an opal help make? Oh and if anyone has any adult pictures. ;)

There is a genetics wizard program for corns floating around the web, its a cool program you can use it to see what you would like to pair up with it to make some cool stuff. You can pop corns as hatchlings to see what you got.

I have the program on my other laptop, but I can't use it due to the power cord failing. I don't want to download anything onto this laptop since its my husbands.

It's easier to sex the younger it is. ;]

Really? It looks too tiny for a probe, and I don't know how to pop. The corn is absolutely gorgeous but it doesn't have a name yet.

Popping with baby corn snakes is the easiest way to learn how to pop. If you plan on breeding, then you should learn how to pop babies, if you don't then don't worry about it.

Opal is lavender + amel - so you can make all sorts of things with them. Congrats!! And when they're small you can pop them which is the easiest to do. I don't feel comfortable probing corns until they're at least 100-150g. So if don't pop, will be a few months before you know.
