    Power Outages
So before I get my snake I'm trying to cover all bases including emergencies.
Driving home last night it jumped into my head:

I live in the Pacific NW where we have a lot of power outages during the winter months... How do you keep a snake warm? Then I began wondering if there were battery powered heat pads available.. Last year I lost power for
    2 weeks.

    Info appreciated.

    Cheers

I'd get me a case of those 40 hour heat pads from LLLreptiles just in case.

Hi, where did you get your generator, and how much did it cost? If you don't mind me asking. I am looking to buy one for my herps too. Thanks.

I have my snake rack hooked up to a surge protector that has a built in 6 hour back up battery that kicks in when the power goes off. During storms (rain and snow) our power goes off a lot here in my neighborhood so this set up is great specially when I'm not here. I also have heat packs just in case something were bad to happen and I had to evacuate or if we were with out power for over 6 hours.
