Not new to you, but new to me!
So I was cleaning out my ball's cage, and my humidity has been a tad low, so I decided to give him a bath while it was being cleaned. I totally forgot how he is shedding (not actually but going to tonight or tomorrow, or should at least) which I am glad I did, because I don't think I would have bathed him. Anyway, as I put him back in his cage, he stopped and stared at me. I looked at his neck and I could tell he was going to strike, by this time I had already secured his screen, and I stared at him. I put my face closer to the glass and he sat motionless, watching for any sudden movement. I figured he was going to try to strike me, and I didn't want him hurting himself on the glass, and as I pulled away he tried striking. I've kept Ball Pythons when I was maybe 10-13 years old I believe, and for those three years, and those two pythons never even tried striking at me. I don't think any less of my snake now, and I hope to obtain others when space will allow me to. This was a pretty useless post, but it really snapped me back into reality that he's not a dog, or a cat, and I have to know when I am stressing him out.:taz:
