i just dont see how thats possible though... i really dont see how anythings possible. he has been eatin good, pooping and is about to shed.. i have the whole room at 80 degrees, warm side at 89.5 and have him in his own little tub and he is never bothered. i havnt even held him that much. the bump is hard to the touch but wheni push on it it doesnt seem to bother him at all. the only way i could thik of him breaking a rib is when i scared him reallly bad and he jerked really fast and kinda whiped his head around in a circle to hide. but i dont see how that could really do it. he is only like 1 1/2 months old (if that)

    Stuff happens.
I think you're wise to wait for a day or so and see if it gets larger, smaller, harder, softer, etc.
In the meantime, you might want to call the vet and schedule an appt understanding that you can call 24 hours in advance to cancel should you need to.

Does it look like there is something underneath the scales? Or is it actually internal? It could always be that hes just digesting a meal and that's a part of the mouse or something IDK. Just an idea. Or he could just have a piece of substrate stuck underneath a scale, though they usually can work those out pretty quick just moving.

I have a Pastel that has a small fleshy bump on his neck. It's always been there, and it is nothing but a bump.

I can't tell you anything other than I have had an animal like that and he is fine.

Could be an encysted tapeworm. Wouldn't hurt to have a vet lance it just to see what it is.

I'd bump your warm side temps up too, I have better feeding responses and just overall health with temps between 93-94 on the warm side. Warm snake = hungry snake= snake that eats regularly and with gusto.
