Baby Boas!
I know a lot of people have them, let me see some pictures of your baby boa set ups whether it's in racks, or cages.
let me know how you heat them all and how you like them.

Re: Baby Boas!
I can get some pics later tonight, but we have 2 08 babies in stand alone tubs. They have a hide (way too big though, but growing into fast), a water bowl, Acu-rite, using aspen as substrate with UTH's connected to a powerstrip controlled by a dimmer. Soldered some holes in the sides and the lid, but humidity seems to be ok now, though before it started getting more wintery, was a little high. Good luck if you get a new baby!

Re: Baby Boas!
That's what I was thinking of getting first was just stand alone tubs, or keep on of my RBI sweaterbox racks until whether I get one or two grow out of that.
I can't wait to see pictures, I really want to see how people house baby boas.

Re: Baby Boas!
I'll take some pics of my setup tomorrow. I'm using a 10gal tank, cypress substrate, 1 hide, UTH on a Ranco, Infrared Light on a dimmer for ambient & Accurite thermometer. Here's a pic of the little fella, male hypo....

Re: Baby Boas!
Awesome looking snake, if you don't mind me asking where did you get him?
And how are you holding the humidity in the 10 gallon tank, I did that for my first Ball Python a few years ago and it was a nightmare till I found some help on this forum.

Re: Baby Boas!
Thanks man. I got him from CV Exotics in Hampstead. Scott is a great guy, this is the 4th snake I got from him (3 bps and the boa). I'm actually holding the humidity alot better than I did when I had my bp in the 10gal. I covered about 3/4 of the top with 3 layers of tin foil and then a layer of duct tape over that, put the water bowl right over the UTH and I only have to mist the substrate about every 2-3 weeks.

Yeah, I know Scott I went to meet him and see his place in Hampstead I believe it was the begining of the summer. He is nice, I never thought to ask him about his boas.

He breeds mostly BP's but has a decent amount of boas as well.
