Using Flexwatt insulators or electrical tape?
Should I use the insulator clips or the electrical tape? Wat do you guys use? I was thinking of picking up 50' of 4". I was wondering if using electrical tape, instead of the insulating plastic, would be dangerous or if it would effectively be the same thin safety wise.

Tape works and people use it. The plastic insulators are costly and sometimes too big for your application. Some people coat the wires in silicone to protect from moisture causing a short and then cover with tape.

I solder and tape all my flex watt connections. Haven't had a bit of trouble yet.

Me too - the clips suck. Don't waste your money on them....
