    A Birthday present
My grandma has to put down her 10 year old German Shepard. He was born with some back and leg problems and according to her, he can barely walk. So me, my mom, uncle, and grandpa all put up money to buy her a new puppy. The father was purchased directly from Ukraine from what I heard, I didn't go to pick up the pup as I was sleeping just off work. This is the only picture I have of him.

At first my grandma was very emotional and in tears about how were just trying to replace her other shepard, Behr, which was a reason I was somewhat reluctant to put up any money. But she got attached to it very fast.

Deciding names was hard. First they were calling it Brutus, but she thought that was more of a Boxer/Bulldog name. Then I thought of Titan, and she liked it but didn't see it fit. Then Sarge. Then Hitler. Then later we thought of Sergeant Hitler and she could teach the dog to raise its paw when you say "Hail". So far it doesn't have a name. She wants a German name though.

I think the name thing is a bit much, and if I were you I would have left that part out of your post. It's a bit inappropriate.

I hope your grandmother has help taking care of a puppy as well, since a puppy is SO much work. Otherwise, the puppy is adorable. Congrats to your grandmother on the new baby, I hope they develop a good bond. :)
