    Accidental Animal Cruelty
We don't mean to do it...but it happens to the best of us.

My worst case of AAC happened a few days ago.

I leave my rats outside on cool days and warm nights, usually just out on the porch in the shade. Normally, before bed, I check the weather forecast to see if it's going to rain or get to cold, or whatever.

The only day I don't check the weather, it pours.
Not overnight, but in the morning.
    Oh boy, did it pour.

By the time I woke up, realized that the rats are outside, in a wire cage, without protection they were all soaked. The bottom tray of there cage was a lake, and almost everyone was packed into the soaking cat bed/rat house.
I dragged the cage inside, then started unloading them into a empty ten gallon and drying them off.

They forgave me after I gave them there favorite sugary treat; peanut butter Captn' Crunch.

Awww, poor ratties. Call it a unplanned rat bath day. I'm picturing teeny shower caps and towels.

My brother kept cracking jokes about them hanging on the sides of the cage, shaking their tiny fits and going 'YOU JERK'

I have to admit though, they did smell much fresher than before.
