Time outs... happening ALL the time.
I thought I saw this posted already but cannot find it.

I get lots of messages to sign up when I go to post my responses.

And it isn't a sign in page I am directed to, it is a sign up page.

I have recommended the forum to 3 people I know of that have said they have gotten memberships and by the time they try to post they get the same message and have stopped trying to get into the forum at this point.

Seems like a bug that could detrimental... I copy and paste my message when this happens, but not sure newer members would go the trouble.

    Just an FYI.

Thanks, I disabled a plug in that could possibly be causing that problem. Please let me know if you keep having the same problem.

are you constantly being logged out?

    Thanks.

Not constantly, but definitely more than 50-60% of the time, and consistenly so. As mentioned I know it is happening to other members. I just hate to think of someone not getting to access this site for that reason.

I will keep you posted if it keeps happening.

I noticed it when using firefox but not with IE.

I clicked the REMEMBER ME button and haven't had one since, but I clean my cache usually daily, and if my cache is cleaned then I get them with IE.

I only notice it as it never happened before.

On occasion I would have to log back in after having closed all my browsers, but these ones have been mid session and when I have been active on the site i.e. responding to messages, etc.

Just an FYI for the techie.

I've been AWOL for a while and just returned to the site. The first thing I noticed upon my return is that I get "auto-logged off" after what seems like just a few minutes of inactivity. I am using firefox, but I think I was using it previously as well.

Where exactly is that "remember me" button???

It's a little check box next to where you type in your screen name to log in. I should say, it's next to the log in box at the upper right of the page. If you are looking at the log in that takes up the middle of the page it isn't there.
