Ok I have put my male into my females cage but she doesn't seemed interested he rubs up on her but she doesn't stop and wait on him I figured she would stay still and let their tails meet but she doesn't stay still for him but she is in the middle of a shed which I just found out could that be why she won't breed yet and when she sheds will that be like a trigger for them to breed or not

Could be maturity or the fact she just isn't interested. If the weights are right just keep pairing them up and then giving them down time. You may not see anything for a couple months. Also they may be doing something when you are not watching.

Addtionally for some reason I have seen that the females do not seem to be as interested in younger males. If your male is too young he may just not be mature enough himself or really have the instinct to stimulate the female properly yet.

Maybe they are just not in the mood ;)

Try them during a cold front or when any low pressure comes in...

It is still very early in the season, they have the next 6 months to figure it out.

They call it breeding season not breeding day ;) :P

Maybe I'm not understanding this breeding thing I mean the palpating the copulation is there anything out there that goes into exactly what happens from day one
