how often do you feed your young BPs?
I've read that some people feed every 7 days, and others feed every 5 days. Is there any reason why one would be healthier than the other? I can only assume that feeding every 5 days would make a bigger snake, but could possibly pose problems if you overfeed.
Do you slow your feeding after it reaches adult size?
Just wondering what people out there do :D
Re: how often do you feed your young BPs?
Feeding every 5 days will allow for more growth. I usually feed every 7 days myself, but am currently feeding every 5 because my babies this season were slow to start feeding. I'd like them to have a bit more weight on them, and smaller more frequent meals work for me.
Also when they are adults I feed the same way. I normally feed all adults a small rat every 7 days, but I have a few that will only take one mouse so I try and get them to take one every 5 days. I try to adjust my feeding schedule according to the snake, if that makes any sense.

I feed every 3-5 days on hatchlings, once they start eating weaned/small rats I go to every 7 days

I've been feeding the babies every 5 days. Two of them are under 150 grams, and the third is getting close to 200 grams. I'm mostly waiting for him to refuse a 5 day meal and then I will change it to every 7.

I feed everything under a year old every 5 days. Anything over a year old gets fed every 7 days.
