    Rescue!! Yay!!
A while back I mentioned a guy I work with (who also works at a pet store :() who has an adult male bp that is seriously neglected. So today I was talking to him about the snake and he said it had not been fed in 3 months :O and I couldn't hold it in anymore. I said "your joking right, why on earth haven't you fed him!?" he responded with "well its at my parents and they don't take care of it and I don't have time." I burst out with "well then give me the snake already! Ill take care of right so the poor thing doesn't die!" and he actually said yes!

Then I had the issue of getting my mother-in-law to agree to letting me keep another snake (I live in the basement apartment of her home and she didn't want me to have anymore snakes) but after hearing how neglected the snake was she felt so bad.

Oh, by neglect I mean - the snake has NO heat source. It is NEVER cleaned up after and I'm sure it rarely has water. He has force fed it several times and it has not been eating on its own in a year.

I am picking up a tub for him and the other necessities and I have a great closet/small room off my bedroom in my apartment that will be perfect for him. As soon as I see what kind of shape the bp is in I will give my vet a call for an appointment.

I hope he does go through with giving me the snake, I am so excited!

congrats! I've often wished I had the capability to have tons of animals, there's so many that need rescuing. I used to help out at the local no-kill animal shelter when I was going to college every now and then, and was always so sad that pets weren't allowed in dorms.
