    Basic cage requirents
Ok, so i was thinking of using a spare cage i had for my BCI red-tail who is currently in a 30g but only uses a small percentage of it. do you think a cage that is 13"x13"x48" is big enough or would it be better to stick with the 30gallon? He's was born on 3/24 so he's still pretty small. I just wanted to see if i could save some space by using a different cage.

I'd stick with the 30 gallon and start making plans for something larger before too long. You've got the wrong snake to think in terms of saving much space I'm afraid.
