Tub Advice
Okay, well....I decided to remove my snakes from there tanks, mainly due to the fact of bad humidity and bad sheds, even with a damp towel I couldn't get the humidity right, I moved them into sterlites. Temps and Humidity are now nearly perfect, if not perfect, just wanted to pointers and advice tubs. I read the thread about baby boa setups etc, and use of tubs. There tubs are as follows.
6 Month old male Red Tail - 106qt Sterlite

6 month old male Ball Python - 35qt Sterlite

2 month old female central american boa - 35qt Sterlite

Mainly just wanted to know if there setup okay, and the right sizes for there age.

Re: Tub Advice
They seem fine to me size wise, do you have a second hide for your BP on the other side?

I use tubs also for my boas and for my Blood python. you seem like your set ups will do just fine. only difference between mine and yours is i use newspaper cause its easy to find the poop and so on and its a free so I never have to worry about paying for substrate. also, if my animals ever had fleas or mites etc i could see right away.
but your set up is fine just how it is. you do have UTH heaters under those right? or flex watt tape?

Re: Tub Advice
I just wanted to let you know: The bad humidity in the tanks was CAUSED by the towel. Towels soak up moisture, and harbor bacteria. When the towel dried it sucked up the moisture from the tank. The best way to retain stable humidity levels in a tank is with the foil treatment or solid plastic.
Tubs look good, tho. Good luck with them...I've found that tubs are MORE trouble for me than tanks. :)

Here's a thread I made awhile back. Perhaps it might help some.
