Re: First snake
My first snake wasn't actually my snake. I was baby-sitting a 4 year old ball python for a friend. Supposedly it would only be for two months ...
I had her for two years.
Needless to say, I fell in love and that's what started it all. :P

Re: First snake
I've always loved reptiles but my parents are scared to death so i wasn't able to have my own until i got my own place a couple years ago. My first snake was a ball python that a friend of mine didn't want anymore, and now my guest bedroom is full, its addictive to say the least.

Re: First snake
I was always catching gardner snakes when I was little but my mother was deathly afraid of them.
My first real pet snake was a '07 normal corn, named byrd, which I got last year when I moved out on my own. My collection has since grown to include a '06 cali king and a '05 normal ball. Seems friends and neighbors thought since I had one they could foist there unwanted snakes off on me. I'm okay with that I love all three of them.
