Another shining moment of mine... lose snake.

My mexican black king that is... I can't believe I didn't latch the lid! I remember latching it, but must have forgotten somehow? I know I put a mouse in their around 10:30 PM... took the mouse out around 30 minutes later because Lilith wasn't interested, and I must have just forgotten to latch the lid after I took that crazy mouse out. I have so many clothes all over my floor... which is going to make finding her not only difficult but dangerous! I'm so scared of stepping on her. O_O Any tips of finding lose snakes? I assumed she would be around my two power strips, being the only source of heat on my floor, but guess not. Please, anyone have any ideas??? I feel like the worst snake owner of all time........... yeah, you don't need to say it. My current plan of attack is moving sloooow, keeping the door shut, and sifting through all my clothes and placing them on top of my bed.

edit: Found her in one of my shoes by my closet! She's in the process of shedding her skin too.
