female rats

I had posted a while back about putting another male rat with our first pet rat Oreo. Then about two weeks ago I purchased some rat weanlings to feed and one of them did not get eaten. :rolleyes: so now I have a female rat all by herself and what a girl supposed to do except get her a friend... so I got her a friend. Here are pics. First is the non eaten girl.. now named Licorice.

and the new girl... she is about 5 months old and is way sweet and cuddly.

I can never get pictures that good of my rats! I love the eyes in the first picture. They are both adorable.

thanx Laurie I got lucky, they each held still for a few seconds here or there so I was able to snap a few good pics. most came out blurry and were unusable. Most of the time they were wandering all over the place LOL.
