Very unusual wild caught corn

So question came up in another thread about this girl. She is a WC corn, that was removed from someones yard. She has very unusual coloring, very different from the typical wild types found in this area. For now she is classified as a normal, but I do believe she might have some hidden "stuff" lurking around in there. Her background has an almost metallic look to it reminding me of Miami's, but she also has a Caramel look to her. At any rate, she is going to be fun to play around with.

Any thoughts on what this girl might be hiding? Best guesses?

It looks a little like a miami phase corn. They have more grey in the banding. I am not sure where you live, so it may not be a miami phase.

It is an interesting snake. I am guessing you are keeping it or have had it for a while. Might be worth trying to breed.

I am in North West Florida, basicaly as far west as you can get and still be in FL. Yes I have had her a while. She is finally up to a good breeding weight at 558g. When I got her she was only 142g.

No Quarantine????

She's put on 400 grams, I think quarantine has been over for a while...

First and 2nd pic scream caramel, third pic not so much, though it could just be the lighting. I'm 99% positive that it's probably a caramel. The first pairing I'd do would be against a caramel or butter or het caramel.

Well, I just noticed as I took that last pic this morning that she is just starting to cloud up for shed, so she is a bit darker than normal.

Yeah, I am thinking more caramel as well, unfortunately, I do not have a caramel or het caramel or know of one to do a loan with. I will be keeping my eyes open though. If she does eventually prove out, would it be a new line, or just add some new blood into the existing one?

If she does prove out to be a caramel, I guess you could call it a new line, but really I'd just call it a WC caramel and use it to introduce new "caramel blood" to the gene pool.

You should try looking around for a butter or caramel male, could probably find a yearling or even an adult. I don't think you can prove anything one way or another until you breed it against a known caramel.
