Talking bout the ghetto!!

Ghetto incubator that is. I got bored a few days ago and wrote how to set up an egg box. A few people PM'ed me and asked if I would post pics of my incubator. So here is one I took.
It is heated by 6 feet of 11 inch tape. I know your are thinking thats to much heat tape. But I am paranoid and love to check on my eggs ALOT!! The extra heat tape allows me to do so and it helps the temps recover faster.
Also I took a piece of 3 inch PVC pipe and mitered the corners. I then glue the extra pieces so the pipe made a shape like this ]

If you look in the back right corner you can see where I put the pipe. I then added a PC fan to the top. I glued it to the PVC pipe. This helps suck the hot air from the top blow it down the pipe to the bottom. So the entire incubator runs about the same.

I have another fan at the bottom of the incubator to circulate the air.
The heat tape is hooked to a Big Apple thermostat. I have the probed in a tub on the top shelf. There is also a thermometer with a probe in the same tub. The temps stay at 88.4 degrees.
