Butter vs Lesser any advantage to one over the other?
Or is it just a personal preference? Is one super whiter/cleaner than the other super? I know they are not supposed to be related but that they do basically the same thing.

There is no Butter Vs Lesser.

They are both completely different in their own right.

I personally, cannot say one has a better advantage.

If you want to make Lesser Bees, you get a lesser.
If you want to make Butter Bees, you get a butter.

Oh Pat y'know for a monkey boy you're pretty dang smart :rolleye2: lol.

OP: It's personal preference, some people prefer the look of a butter over a lesser and vice versa. Basically what is going to make you go "wow" when you open up that tub/cage/tank? Heck, just get both breed them make a lucy and you can breed that to a normal and get butters and lessers :D it's the best of both worlds!

The only difference is that butters still seem to cost a couple dollars more. They are different lines of the exact same morph. Just like all of the different pastels.

Similar but different is how I come down on the issue. It goes without saying I have become a "Butter Person". I have a breeder male that is stunning and is a stud with the females. I have made some crosses with him, have held back over a dozen females from him, and he will be back at it this season.

I am sure that there are many keepers who feel similar about a Lesser in their collection. I have seen colorful and drab in each morph. Some people have talked about the Super Butter being a cleaner/whiter animal???? Every Butter combo I have made thus far is certainly enhanced by the gene. I am "a Butter guy".:D

I'm a lesser guy ( having a Bel and a lesser adult Is should be...) Personally, I hate them both. That's right! But with every morph comes their exceptions, and good colorful butters and lessers make me drool:)

I've seen Butters and Lessers going for about the same prices lately, I guess whichever one catches my eye when I go to buy my male morphs I'll get.
