    no action in 1st 24 hours
    hi i put two pairs together last night, and havnt seen any locks yet? does this usually happen first time they are paired up? one pair are cuddledup together and one pair ae coiled up parralel to each other on the ht end of the tub?

    whaddya think,:? im a real newbie to breeding so any help is greatly appeciated:confused:

    Keyword in breeding is PATIENCE.

    It is still very early in the season, be patient, also you will not always witness a lock, sometimes you will right away during the first 24 hours sometimes it will happen later it varies.

    Just keep pairing throughout the season and remember to give your animals some good rest in between.

    First pairing and nothing doing isn't that strange, give it time and keep at it.

    geez, thanks guys :P its gonna be a long winter, i am actually looking forward to my pairs mating more than christmas, is that normal? :banana:

    yeah im not gonna cause any undue stress, im gonna do the 3days on 3 days off cycle, do u think this is enough? im gonna gradually lower my temps over the coming month until the nightime hotspot is in the low 70's and then keep it like that at nighttime for the remainder of the breedin season or until i get any gravid females, does this sound ok?

    also another question, i have removed the hides whilst they are paired up, will it be ok to pop them back in for their 3 day rest?
