    Problematic feeders...what to try.
    Well for the first time in a long time my male BP is feeding every week. I figured out a trick that works at least for him (who has gone over 6 months at times without feeding).
    1. I'll scent the room by the leaving the dethawing rat in the room with him for at least an hour.
    2. Feed at 9pm or later.
    3. When I feed him I leave all lights off, and just use a flash light to see. I make sure not to shine the light directly on him.
    This has worked for the past 3 weeks and I am so happy.
    Maybe we can compile a list of things that work to get a BP eating again.

    thats kinda what i did for mine...but he would not take the f\t...i just had to put it in there...but he would not go anything untill i turn off the main like and just left the table lamp on....strange...

    i feed all mine with dark lighting(red) at night when its calmer in the house, its never really quiet with 3 kids, but the funny thing is my one female who never eats regularly doesnt care what time of the day it is when she finally does decide to eat she,ll eat once a week then once every 2 then once every 3 days lol,but the rest of em want it dark and quiet
