if get a male rat tonight and add it to my other rats which are two females and one male and the male rat im getting is a full grown adult and the male rat i have now is not as big will they fight? or will they be ok?

The smaller rat is getting adopted tomorrow so he wont be in there much longer than 24 - 38 hours from now.

There may be some territorial issues there. When you say that the male you have is smaller, is he big enough that he's breeding with the females? My suggestion would be to find someplace that you can keep the new male for a little while and not put him in with the other guy.

If he is being adopted tomorrow, don't risk the breaking of quarantine and fights for one night.

Keep him in a separate room for the night in a separate tub/tank.

his testicles are very clear to the eye but he i havent seen him breeding with the females at all thats why im adopting him out and getting a large male that will do it much faster than this.

All this one does is play with the females

If it's been a while, I wouldn't risk putting him in right away, but give him a week of alone time to watch him and monitor for signs of illness or pests.

Well, assuming the sellers haven't brought in any new additions since you first bought rats from them.

    3 rats - no babies
Ok so I have one male and two female rats I have had them we'll say for about a month and half maybe just a month but i am sure they are all old enough to mate and have babies.

However, I don't see/hear any pinkies in there and they look just as fat (the females) as they did when they came to my house so not a big difference.

Should I get a new male rat or just wait it out a little longer?

They all seem happy and they are well fed.

I just recently got another snake so i need to see results lol.

But if all else fails I will go to petco and use their rats as food.

I would be very careful introducing the new guy, ESPECIALLY if there's a noticeable size difference.

I bought a really adorable, small dumbo boy home once and put him in with my large hairless. I didn't think there would be a problem as the hairless had been with other males of all sizes.

Needless to say he killed the dumbo :(

Now I only put together males if they've been raised together. For example, I have five males currently living together happily. One is rather large compared to the others, but I placed them together at a young enough age that they've bonded and have no problem.

How old were they when you put them together? How much did the females weigh in grams?

Try removing the male for a night or two, then put the females into HIS cage. He will have scented it and having to be reintroduced may spur on a little loving.
