I see morphs everywhere!

Has anyone's love of morphs spilled into everyday life?

So I'm driving through a SF bay area town yesterday and I see a squirrel... it was JET BLACK. I have never seen a jet black squirrel before, and until now probably wouldn't have thought must about it except "hey cool, a black squirrel". But all I can think now is "dang it, I should have caught it and found out if it's genetic!"

There's also these spiders that have recently showed up this year... they look like black tarantulas that are about the size of a nickel with one white spot on their back. Then I saw a few that had a red spot! OMG am I a freak for wanting to catch them and find out if breeding them makes pink spots, or finding out that the white spotted ones are girls and the red spotted ones are boys?

Yes I am a freak. I'm giddy with excitement to find out if my little baby boy is going to have hazel or blue eyes because his mother and I are both Het for blue eyes...

LOL.... I have seen " Morphs " in the wild. I once saw a White deer in NW Arkansas when I lived there. I also saw what appeared to be an albino banded Copper head on the road there. I pulled over and was just about to get out of my car and try to capture him when another car came flying by and made a meat pie out of it. I was heart broken, first for the snake in general but second that it was such a unique looking animal with genetic possiblities.
As for the black squirel. I work in Princeton, NJ and there are 4 or 5 of them living around my office. JET BLACK!
