    Celiac advice
So it looks like I have adult onset Celiac disease
which is actually a big relief since it's managable
I've been very ill for the past couple of months and am glad to go on a gluten-free diet if it makes me well!

Anyway, I bought a loaf of Ener-G white rice bread.....

    It was SOOOOO DISGUSTING!

Any advice on gluten free breads that aren't like eating a mouthful of sand?

    Thanks!

    Check out this link.

Personally I'd be making my own bread before I'd pay a ton for specialty breads. Much more cost effective and likely far tastier too.

There is a ton of sites online for great gluten free recipes and cookbooks to order.

hey that's a good idea - making my own will probably result in a much moister bread. The pre-made ones all come packaged like they are made to be stored for years and are all dried out.

I live near the King Arthur Flour company - I checked and it turns out they have a decent-looking bread mix I'll try next time I go into town for supplies
