    video question
I just created my first video of my snake, its kinda long so I added a song to the background and I didnt want my voice being heard. I added "gunsroses november rain" went to upload it on youtube.com and it was rejected for copyright.... how do i add songs to the background without it getting rejected....

i obviously dont want to do anything illegal, but its so odd as I see others with the same scenario but yet theres get to play.

is it just a matter of certain bands or all music in general?

I think youtube needs to reevaluate what they consider "copyright infringement". There must be hundreds of thousands of videos that are just songs, or even movies. :/
    I would re-upload it.

Well evidentally its the song.... I redone it and the same message appeared.............. but i click the link this time and here's what i got.

A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video. The audio content identified in your video is November Rain by Guns N' Roses. We regret to inform you that your video has been blocked from playback due to a music rights issue.

hmm, did you put the song into the tags or title? What it sounds like is that GAR has asked YouTube to not let anyone put their songs into unauthorized videos. I have no clue other wise

    Re: video question
actually no, i did neither. I think youtube scans the video's somehow and electronically picked up that the song that was entered in the video was guns and roses. I liked what i picked better anyway! hehehe
