    Baby Ball Python Feeding Questions
I bought a baby female ball python from a reptile expo on sept 21st/08, She is 116 grams in weight. I left her in her tank to get adjusted to her new environment/surroundings for one week and on feeding day she did not eat, she refused. She did Defecate tho.

How long should i wait to try and force feed her ?

How long can she go without eating at this age? before i have to worry, she's only a few months i belive

I haven't tryed live rat pups yet, but if F/T doesn't work, i will try that

    Thanks

force feed? she,s pooped id say at least 3 months before force feeding.
wait a week then try again she might be goin into shed or still stressed out , 2 of mine never eat in shed look and see if eyes are cloudy or blue or pink belly those are tell tell signs of a shed
and check and recheck your temps and humidity just to rule that out

I would try to feed once a week! We use live hopper mice to get all hatchlings feeding . Give the snake a hide and dont handle it at all for a full week maybe two. then introduce the hopper into the inclosure. Dont disturb the snake just put the mouse in and leave the lights out.
