My SO is now an official herp person & member of the Bite Club :D
I bought him a Dumerils Boa about a year ago and he has decided in the past few weeks to work up the nerve to pick her up out of her enclosure. Now he is fine with my BP's- at least the puppy dog tame ones and my Macklotts. His girl is a typical juvie though and does the defensive strike to get you to leave her alone. I haven't handled her much at all to get her used to handling.

Today she decided to tag him while he has her out. I was so proud of him- until me he was terrified of snakes. He didn't drop her or try to put her back, he just held onto her. It was only one tiny pin-prick of blood but he is proudly showing off his "wound" to the neighbors now, lol.
