    If i built a well insulated rabbit hutch would a mom be able to raise her babies in their?I live in western new york so it does get cold.:confused:

    My sister in law has insulated cages outside even in the winter. In the super cold months of January and February, she provides them with a heating lamp (red lamp for chickens) and they survive without any problem... As for the babies, I wouldn't recommend breeding in the winter.

    I live in Québec, Canada and it's very VERY cold!

    Thanks I think i will just breed them in my garage,thats heated to around 70.:)

    Im not sure bu i heard on a website they can survive at -20 degrees
    but im not sure their breeding temp.
