My feeder had some babies....
I bought some feeders the other day to feed the snakes. I grabbed one out of the box to give to the snake and she looked a little lumpy so I set her aside. This was monday evening, well yesterday (tuesday) I got home and she already has babies. I have never bred any mouse or rat before so dont know much to do yet. I did have cages set up for ASF i have been looking for so she is in here in a little house thing.
Do I just basically leave them alone for a while?
Do I need to do anything?
I dont even know how many are in there because I dont want to disturb them, how long until they come out and move?

Food, water, and a space to brood. That's all you need.
Leave her alone.
You can move her slightly to count the babies, but for the most part, just let mother nature handle it :)
Re: My feeder had some babies....
Thanks, i guess its a few for the price of one.
How long until they actually look like mice and start moving around
Re: My feeder had some babies....
The babies should be ready to wean when they are 3 weeks old. Those 3 weeks are divided approximately equally with about 1 week as pinkies, 1 week as fuzzies, 1 week as hoppers.
This thread is a great reference to see how they grow:
