    Live vs Egg
I was just randomly thinking, like always, and wondered: what if ball pythons gave live birth like boas. I was wondering what everyones thought was on this. Would you rather the babies come out of the mother, or are you fine with the eggs?

I'm personally fine with eggs. That's enough mess for me. I dont know how boa people do it. :P

I'm with Connie on this one, baby boa birth just freaks me out. Too much extra goo for the likes of me.

Haven't bred either yet, But I would think not having to go through the incubation process would be kind of nice... I know it is nice when you keep live birthing Chams, like Jacksons, to come home and find a bunch of babies cruising the cage one day.

And when your cleaning up after a snake that craps like a Great Dane weekly, what is a little extra baby goo?

Having given birth once myself (and will be again in April :D) and having assisted with rat births and such, a little bit of goop doesn't phase me in the least. Not even sure how you notice the goop in the excitement of a birth.

Longer wait process for babies...but you skip the egg laying and the incubating!! Its all moms job then.:D
