What a difference a poop makes.
I'm a new BP owner (about 5 weeks) and my snake seemed pretty timid, staying in the hide (cool side) almost all the time. It's fed for me 5 times and I've seen him drink from water dish. It hadn't pooped since I got it, I started worrying til I read some of the threads here. Well a couple of days ago noticed it was in the hot side hide for 1st time, and was curious so checked other hide and found 1st poop. Since then it's been very active-out exploring for hours every night and seems much less shy-must be getting comfortable.

FYI: weighed and measured yesterday-35" and 510g

Lol yeah, I noticed not too long ago that one of my BPs hadn't pooped in quite a while and that she was getting kind of fat, I tried soaking her, letting her slither around outside for some exercise and nothing. Then the other day she shed and laid the biggest poop in the corner of her tub lol. She was 495g two days before and 410g afterwards lol. She looked so much happier :D.
