ok im working on the Albino Morph Guide article and im a bit stumped as to which albino crosses have been done....so here is what i have already

    Albino x Axanthic (snow)
    Albino x Black-Back
    Albino x Black Pastel??
    Albino x Clown
    Albino x Cinnamon
    Albino x Genetic Stripe
    Albino x Hypo (sunglow)
    Albino x Pastel
    Albino x Pied
    Albino x Pinstripe
    Albino x Spider

Can anyone add any more that have been produced??

Caramel Albino x Ghost = 100% double het for Caramel Glow. Breed sibs together for a 1/32 shot at the homozygous Caramel Glow desinger morph.

Pied x Lavender Albino = 100% double het for Dreamsicle. Breed sibs together for a 1/32 shot at the homozygous dreamsicle.

Tons of options with DH recessives. There are rumors of TH recessives but that's a 1/64 shot and all kinds of inbreeding=bad IMO.

I'm pretty sure when aiming for double recessives with hets you've got a 1:16 ratio.

If someone wants to prove me wrong, i'd love it (i have a genetics exam on friday)

1/16 would be the odds in a double hetX double het you are correct

True that! And considering that you really want it to be a male (to breed to all your double het females) that drops to a 1 in 32! Eeks!

    Yes, I don't know why I said 1/32, it is 1/16 odds.

Basically for DH recessives you can combine any recessive with albino and get something cool. RDR also did a striped albino DH and I'm sure you can toss clowns or axanthics in there too. I don't even want to begin to try and think what a TH or QH recessive would take...

You do hope you hit that double visual male but not sure were you get 1 in 32...Each egg would have a 1 in 4 chance from a double visual male bred to a double het female...

    Hi,

    Not a stupid Q at all. :)

Yes Caramel is just a shortened way of saying Caramel albino much the same as we say cinamon instead of cinamon pastel.

It is also important to point out that even though it is called a caramel albino it is genetically distinct from the regular albino this thread was discussing. :gj:
