    Hi! *cough* Newbie here
    Hi!

I just recently joined. Interested in learning all these terms about snakes and lizards etc... We have had a ball python now for about 7 months. It is not sexed. So for now his name is Bob. Me and my husband are also shih tzu lovers we have 4 for now (Maci, Lea, Bert and Ernie), we also breed them. We also have a persian cat named Josie.

(i had one when I was in high school way before there was a computer and internet in every home. And had no idea the care these things needed, needless to say not really bad experience but not the one i should have had for my first snake and he or she died after about a year and half to two year i had it.)

We are wanting to ad a 2nd snake to the home, we want to house them together and wondering what other kind of snakes can be homed with a normal BP. We would love to get bob sexed so we would know if he's really bob or bobette.

My person wants in the next snake is a an albino BP or someother very pretty color.

Well i guess im done with my soap box for now.

If you would like to see pics of my animals just add me to your myspace.

Welcome to the site. I think you will find tons of useful info here:)
As for what you can house with a bp....I would say nothing. Snakes really should be housed alone with the exception of breeding. Do a search and you will see why. Some of the issues include: if one gets sick, the other will likely get sick, if you have a regurge you can't tell which one, and cannibilism.
I hope you enjoy our little community, as there are many many experienced keepers and breeders here.
