    Getting Right Down to Business
Since I'm not going to be cooling I figured it wouldn't hurt to put Xefaud (male 100% het. pied normal) in with Akina (normal female) and see what happens. I put him in last night right around 1am. (I'm a night owl) I went to bed and woke up around 11am (man I'm lazy) and found Xefaud with his tail draped over her tail. I left them alone for a few more hours and just now I opened the tub again and found them in a 'lock position'. It was not an actual lock but Xefaud has the right idea. I have a few pictures that I will post tonight.

Since this is my first time breeding, should I leave them alone for the most part. I know I'm going to want to keep poking my head in to see if I can catch them in a lock. How often is too often when checking on them?
