    George, my BP
Today was good! George, my BP who is almost 1 yo. ate his first rat today! It was the second attempt and I was so happy when he finally struck. He has always been a fairly consistent eater as long as I did it the way he wanted and what he wanted! He refused last week so the rat pup was a little larger than I wanted for his first but it all worked out. He was eating 2-3 mice per week so I knew he had been ready for rats for a couple months now. He is, once again in his "live feeder" phase so I really was nervous about the rat feeding but it went well. I watch every second until the prey is dead and he is hunting for the head. Then I cover his tank and check occassionally to make sure he is swallowing ok. He was fat and happy this evening. My 2 RTBs also ate their first FT rat pups today but they are good eaters and will eat anything! Grace, the younger 0.1 BP is still on mice but is growing fast and I should have all rat eaters soon! I also have a question, it seems the female BP is growing faster than George did, do the females grow faster than males? I do need to post some pics soon, I haven't really posted many of these 4 cuties!
