    Mouse having contractions?
I think my mouse is going into labor. She is breathing funny and her little tummy is going out and in like a contraction. she keeps making weird noises like moaning and ticking. She looks like she is in alot of pain. I took her out of the main bucket and put her in her own little cage with a hide box. Should I turn off the lights so she will be more comfortable should I keep her cage next to me incase of trouble. as far as I know she is a first time mom. Please help!

I really need some help guys she is gasping for air and her tummy keeps going in and out. she is making weird noises and almost moaning. Its to the point that she is either dieing or in labor. to me it sounds and looks like labor but i have only seen humans and dogs give birth. the vet for small animals in my town is closed I need advice pronto!

How big/old is she? Ive never seen any of my mice give birth, but I also have never heard/read of it happening like this( or anything to do with once they are giving birth)? Some females are just not made to give birth and do not make it. I'm really not sure about what to say, if just leave her alone and let nature take its coarse. Is it bad gasping?

she is full grown definatly. I was just wondering if these are signs of some sort of illness. her "contractions" are making her kinda shakey

My girls never made noise, only stretched their back legs out when contracting. How is she doing?

She sounds like shes in distress. Labor is pretty quick and noiseless except for squeaking babies.
